Summary

Sometimes a shower starts to look stained and tired even when it's kept clean. This project called for a full regrout and deep clean to bring new life to an older tub shower in San Mateo. The goal was to get rid of cracked and discolored grout and restore a fresh, neat look.

The Work

Removed old grout from all shower walls
Deep cleaned tile surfaces to prepare for new grout
Installed non-sanded cement-based grout matched to the original color
Sealed the new grout and reapplied silicone around the tub and glass enclosure

The Outcome

The shower now looks crisp and uniform, with bright grout lines and clean tiles. The new grout and silicone help protect against water damage and make cleaning much easier going forward.
